This campaign began with something I couldn’t ignore
On the morning of March 17th, a poem came to me - fully formed, urgent, impossible to look away from.
It felt like witnessing something. Now, it needs to become visible.
Desert Within
A series of eight large-scale abstract paintings
exploring war, distance, memory, and the fragility of the human body under emotional weight.
These works translate words into texture, color, heat,
and rupture - not illustrating war, but revealing
what it does within us.
I show the marks war leaves on the human soul,
even when witnessed from afar.

only watched,
from very far away.
Her body locked -
every pore seized shut;
her breath no longer moved
within her veins.
She turned to stone -
from fear…
and from the ache
of what was gone.

but rarely given space to feel them.
This project is about that space.
Not politics.
Not commentary.
But witnessing.
And remembering that behind every distant event,
there is something human-fragile, overwhelmed, and real.
